Women Rainmakers Roundtable

The Women Rainmakers Roundtable helps successful women lawyers like you become successful rainmakers. This two-year coaching program brings together talented women partners who are committed to growing their books of business. Since 1997, the Roundtable has helped over 275 women partners achieve their business development goals. Participation in the Roundtable is by invitation only.

The Women Rainmakers Roundtable program will help you build your book of business by:

• Developing habits that produce results
• Expanding your referral network
• Increasing your confidence as a business developer
 

Roundtable Results


In surveys of Roundtable members, virtually all respondents have said that their goals for participating in the Roundtable had been met. Even more impressive, 70% reported that their books of business had grown significantly as a result of their participation. Increases ranged from 10% to more than 300%, with an average increase of 85%. Roundtable members attribute these results to the program’s duration, structure, practicality, and content-rich sessions.

Program Description


The Roundtable is a comprehensive, two-year coaching program. The Roundtable meets in person for four 2-day workshops over the course of two years. In between these workshops, you receive support through monthly telephone sessions and e-mail contact.

The in-person workshops focus on four critical rainmaking skills:

  • Pinpointing your best marketing strategies
• Structuring your marketing efforts to maximize their effectiveness
• Building referral relationships that result in business
• Applying an effective approach to asking for business
 

The monthly telephone sessions provide accountability and focus on key marketing tactics, including:

  • Making time for business development
• Capitalizing on face-to-face marketing opportunities
• Creating effective marketing materials
• Preparing for networking events
• Systemizing your marketing


As you get to know the other members of your Roundtable, you'll expand your referral network. To support the giving and receiving of referrals, we have a private on-line referral database.

To summarize, as a member of the Women Rainmakers Roundtable, you’ll participate in a proven program that has helped women partners build substantial books of business. You’ll join a select group of 25 women partners. You’ll benefit from:

  • Four 2-day workshops
• Nineteen monthly group telephone coaching sessions
• Recordings of each group coaching session
• Access to the members-only on-line referral database
• Individual e-mail coaching
 
Logistical Details


The next Roundtable will meet in San Francisco on the following dates:

  • October 23-24, 2008
  • April 23-24, 2009
  • September 24-25, 2009
  • February 25-26, 2010

All workshops will be held at the St. Regis Hotel and start on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., include dinner on Thursday evening, and continue until noon on Friday. If you are unable to attend a session, you may send a woman partner from your firm as your alternate or you may make up the missed session six months later at another Roundtable

The monthly telephone coaching sessions take place on the first Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time). The telephone sessions are always recorded so if you miss one you can listen to the session at a later date.

Registration

Membership in the Roundtable is a two-year commitment. 
To become a Roundtable member, please contact ClientFocus. After we receive your completed registration form, we will invoice you for the membership fee for the first year. Your space is not guaranteed until we receive your registration form and fee for your first year of participation.
